Our Story

Founded in 1991, Atlantic Forest Products began as a single-office trading floor in Baltimore, Maryland.
By 1995, AFP had expanded their presence in the Mid-Atlantic market marking an important step in its early growth.
Between 1997 and 1999, AFP continued its upward trajectory, expanding into Northeast markets and strengthening its regional footprint.
After years of steady development, the period from 2017 to 2019 marked another phase of significant growth, with the addition of traders and sales personnel. During this time, the company further expanded its AFP operations into New York, the Southeast, Texas, Arizona, and the West Coast markets, solidifying its position as a broader national presence.
Today, Atlantic Forest Products employs 80+ people, all of whom are valued members of the AFP family. Their expertise, dedication, and commitment continue to drive the company’s success and long-standing relationships across the industry.
